I saw a couple go to the pier and jumped in for their daily swim. Also, the price for diner or anything you purchase at hotel from spa to food or anything else, it’s US Dollars. “Truly stellar pool with three areas of different depths. This allowed children to play more freely while parents enjoyed the pool. Only complaint was limited food options with highly variable quality. Note this area of Placencia has lots of sea grass and sargassum that washes up on the beaches daily. So depending on your level of comfort swimming in and around it, you may not be able to use the ocean. When it decays it smells heavily of sulfur. ”
