“It was a pleasant experience. Nice wooded area with your occasional friendly fauna walking by. The area had a nice public pool and lake to swim in. Plenty of restaurants in the area outside of complex. ”

“The property looked exactly as indicated in the pictures. Lake access would have been nice, but not we were able to visit the shoreline elsewhere during our travels. The neighborhood was quiet, low traffic, and all the deer in the area was a pleasant surprise. We had excellent communication with VRBO and the owner. The neighborhood had some water issues, but a local restaurant was courteous and provided us with water to take care of needs at the house. The owner communicated the issue……

“This spot was a great location - quiet but close enough to the lake and Promised Land park to easily enjoy activities. Everything was clean and well maintained, we didn't run into any issues during our stay. My daughter especially loved seeing all the deer and wild turkeys out the massive kitchen windows in the mornings!”

“Had another great long holiday winter weekend at this property with friends and family. Easy access to Elk Mtn for skiing, fun playing on the frozen lake and cozy evenings by the wood stove and TV. Long dirt road to get there but wasn’t hard to navigate and still a close drive to general store (Cables), convenience store/pizzaria (Arlo’s) or restaurants (The Beacon) for weekend needs. “Clean and comfortable. We appreciated the nice quality bedding linens and mattress. Very comfortable. Nice studio apartment like unit with kitchen that is well stocked with pots/pans etc for those who cook. Tranquil country setting. I would stay again. ”
