“We were looking for a weekend getaway away from a lot people, so we chose to rent a cabin here. The cabin came without a TV which was not listed on any sight we were on. The property was beautiful and big, but the roads were gravel and muddy from a recent rain. Only one of the pools were open. The "beach" is not swimmable and is located along the Trinity River which can be pretty gross at times. The positives though were it was out of the way and very quiet. It left for a very relaxing weekend.……

“This was a perfect little get-a-way, "glamping"... too hot to camp so stayed here, had sleeping bags on the floor with outdoor fun. Thank GOD for a/c, toilet and shower when the kids got hot or stinky! The deer and wild life were beautiful to see as well!”

“We liked the cats that roamed the property and petting them. We enjoyed walking thru the woods at the end of the property and looking at the farm animals. We hoped to get some goat cheese but learned they have that seasonally. Hearing the sounds of nature and livestock was really cool, we liked to hear the goats, donkey, roosters and I think it was a really unique bird or small mammal chirp in the trees. Also enjoyed hearing a big rainstorm and wind thru the trees. We needed more blankets and……
