“Lovely place on older side of things, but very clean, staff very friendly, the pool is a bonus, breakfast served, enough to fill your first morning hunger. Safe, walking distance to the Town centre , park/ church area, beautiful site, lots of birds never heared or seen so many. Dinned at a Peruvian Restaurant in the vecinity yummy food. ”

“We loved staying at Canon de La Vieja Lodge for our first few nights in Costa Rica. It was a short distance from the airport and close to the National Park. Lots to explore in the area. The property had many activities to enjoy. Even though the property is popular with tour groups we never felt it was crowded and always found quiet areas to enjoy by ourselves. We greatly appreciated the hot water pools down by the river as well as the main pool with it's swim up bar. Highly recommend this Lodge.……

“El lugar es bellísimo, las habitaciones super limpias, amplias, cómodas, las instalaciones son amplias y te permiten disfrutar en todo momento las vistas de la naturaleza, la atención es muy cálida, el personal es muy amable, y educado, lo hacen sentir a uno como en casa, la comida muy rica!! Los lugares para conocer gay variedad y muy accesibles. Fue un descanzo maravillo!!! Volveria otra vez 😃”

“Although the room was small and simple, it was clean, comfortable, and with good A/C. No hot water but who needs it in 33 degree heat. A bit noisy from the adjacent bar, but no problem with ear plugs. Good food in the attached restaurant. The staff were fabulous - friendly and super helpful and went out of their way. ”

“Clean, very modest hotel along a road that is quite busy (noisy) during traffic time. Staff very kind and accommodating. On site coffee shop (Ticoffee) offers an interesting menu.”
