“This is a wonderful place with a gracious host. The large stone fireplace was appreciated on a couple of cold evenings. The sun porch with storm windows was one of our favorite places to read, chat, play games, and view the ever changing lake, sky, and trees. The kitchen is well equipped and also has beautiful views of the lake. All windows open to allow fresh air on warmer days. “Five stars plus. This is a clean, comfortable, and modern house located on Mallet Bay. It is an easy 15-minute drive to downtown Burlington. There is direct access to a small beach, and the owner supplied all the beach accessories. The waters of the bay ripple to the beach and are not very deep along the shore line. This was perfect for our young grandchildren. The room sizes are large, and the beds are comfortable. The 5 year old enjoyed sleeping on the bunk bed above his parents’ bed.……

“Had a wonderful stay at this cabin with family. The place has a cool vibe–rustic, cozy and comfortable. Everything you need is there. And the best part of this property is the location and spectacular views of the lake, mountains and sunsets. Easy access into Burlington with lots to see and do is pretty great too, as well as great hiking and biking nearby. “The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, except for a coffee pot (there was a keurig with pods though). The host was very quick to answer any questions and our stay was very good. Our only problem was that we had 2 cars and finding safe street parking for the second car was a bit of a challenge but not impossible. I would definitely stay here again but only with one car! I think this was the cleanest place I have ever stayed!”
