“A very comfortable cabin. Excellent base for Adirondack hiking and exploring. Multiple kayaks and a canoe are available for lake paddles. Kayak entry from water easier than from dock. Very well equipped kitchen and a Weber charcoal grill. We brought guide books and maps. Being unconnected from internet or cell coverage was OK but Wifi would have been useful to compare hiking routes or local restaurants etc in more detail. “We were very happy with our stay! The property/home is exactly as described...beautiful. It was clean and very well appointed. The yard was nicely nestled in a large treed yard. The view from the hot tub was fantastic! Our hosts ver very communicative and friendly.The only criticism I can offer is that there was no clear direction with regard to recycling. We ended up throwing out our recyclable garbage and then found our later that it could have been put separately for pick-up. This was……

House was clean, quite, and private -- just what we want when coming to the ADKs.Only 1 thing to note: the house was a bit dusty in spots, and the water took about 30 minutes to turn over. “It was always nice and quiet, and had a nice vibe to it. The natural setting of it was great, I love being in the woods and hearing the birds and such. Neighbors were not right on top of each other, so it felt like it was your own space to enjoy. Definitely a good place to disconnect and relax! I had too many other things going on and wasn't there near enough time to enjoy it more, as it deserves. Maybe I'll come back another time.”

“The house is perfect for 10-12 people and has a lot of space for everyone to hangout. Location is great, it is a quiet area and about 15-20 minutes from whiteface mountain for those who love to ski and snowboard. If you need a place for a few friends or family, I 100% recommend this place!!!”

“Great cabin, very responsive and kind hosts, great location. We stayed for a long weekend with two little kids- great location for hiking and sight seeing. The kids loved the hot tub and loft area. The only suggestion I would have for families with kids is to bring a gate, the stairs are steep. Otherwise we had a great time. Will definitely re-book!”

Did some kayaking and swimming...Had a bonfire.. Did some site seeing...Don't miss Ausable Chasm and Texas Red Hots (2miles north). The owners, were so friendly, accommodating and helpful.
