“Wow! What a neighborhood. We loved Douglas, and the beach access here is just amazing. We swam in Lake MI every day. The beach was perfect for our kids (ages 7-13). There was a nice sandbar that was about 100ft from shore that our kids loved to swim to.”

The house is close to the beach, town, restaurants, and activities. It was well stocked including plenty of bath towels and beach towels. We recommend the Interurban bus (call in advance), Oval Beach, Dune Rides, Fenn Valley Vineyards, and the Windmill Island Gardens. ”

“We had a wonderful family week at the Butterfly Cottage! It was perfect for me, my husband, our 10 week old daughter, my parents, and our pup. My parents stayed in the bungalow, allowing everyone to have their own space. Our dog loved the fenced in yard. We had everything we needed in the house, which is cozy and quiet. Saugatuck is beautiful and laid back, and we were able to walk everywhere - breakfast, coffee, dinner, the waterfront. The only time we needed our car was to go to the grocery.……
