“Great stay!!”

“Hotel was quite nice but another hotel that was being renovated whilst we stayed so a lot of the common areas were not in use. Whilst I understand hotels need to remain open to keep the cash flowing whilst renovating, I wish hotels would make this clear when booking as there were plenty of other hotels we could have chosen instead or compared the price accordingly. Sister hotel was across the road which needed to be used. Location was ok. We were just staying for a few days so it was adequate……

“Basic but reflects in price. The rooms were absolutely freezing and there was no duvets provided, just a thin sheet and weirdly a curtain to cover yourself. It was so cold in the night my daughter was waking up crying, they really need some heaters or duvets. Lady on the desk was friendly.”

“Everything is perfect. The reception welcome us and show the hotel amenities around and the the gentleman is so nice while I was checking out The breakfast time is a bit crowds because of the Oceanside tables but we sit there two days (staff there will try to arrange those tables for you) and the food is nice with many choices. Just one note when I leave a message through th QR code so they can deliver extra needs to the room, they did in the first time and miss the second message. 4.5 stars……

“Wonderful time at Editory by the Sea. Within walking distance to old Lagos. Two main beaches within a ten minute walk. It’s a beautiful resort style place with an outdoor and indoor pool. It is brand new, so there is some things they are working through. Staff were wonderful and all spoke English. The included breakfast was great, large buffet. “The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, next to the N125, easy to reach if you have a car, not so easy if you are on foot ( approximately 25 minutes mainly uphill walking from the train station ) In theory you should be able to hop on the number 2 bus just outside the station and that bus should drop you off just outside the hotel but in practice the bus seldom bothers to turn up at all. “Older property. Upgrade on rooms & facility needed(too many keys!😃) but room was spacious! Very clean & comfortable! Love the suite like appeal & outdoor private patio. Staff was wonderful; helpful, kind, & courteous. I‘m a senior & the steps from the parking lot to reception was challenging wth luggage. But staff came & carried down & up the steps otherwise I would not have made it. Enjoyed my short stay.”
