“In August 2025 we had the perfect family vacation at the River House. My family of 9, ranging in age from 9 to 77, spent 5 nights in Joan’s beautiful house. I am in a wheelchair and have never stayed at a more handicapped accessible rental. Joan was helpful and gracious and when my bed was too high, she helped us work out a perfect solution and the elevator to all four floors was a lifesaver. The house was wonderfully furnished with everything we needed from kitchenware to beach towels. We……

“The home was lovely. 4 of us stayed, as we were in town for a memorial. After the memorial 10 of us gathered to look at pictures and chat. It was comfortable for a get together. Rooms were spacious and clean. We really enjoy our stay and would definitely stay here in the future. Host was helpful and quickly responded to our questions. ”

The owners are very communicative & continue to upgrade & maintain the house nicely. The house/pool/grounds allow you to maximize comfort & fun times without leaving the property.House is close to a variety of outdoor activities for an active group.
