“Tired looking exterior.Built in 1970’s I reckon.Very friendly,helpful,hardworking staff.room was clean,spacious and had everything you would expect.Had a decent bar and hot food available ,of a reasonable quality and at good price.A real bargain.i would certainly use again when in Carlisle.”

“Booked for one night for a work night out. The building is lovely and ideally located near the city centre, though there are major construction works happening outside. The room was adequate, with a nice powerful shower, but there were signs of mould and it could use some updating. The staff, especially the night porter, were very helpful and made our stay more pleasant.”
