“This cabin was big enough for six adults and two children to feel like we could have private time and still come together in the large living room. It’s on a lovely, small, quiet lake - perfect for kayaking. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. I highly recommend it. ”

“This was our first stay at this cabin, but hopefully not our last. Everything was as described and the location was nice--close to Turtle Lake, Cumberland and Comstock. The fishing was good, especially for bass. You don't really notice the neighbors, since this cabin is on a point. The view from the living room is nothing but lake. We had one small problem with the door lock, but the owner James took care of it immediately. Would highly recommend this property.”

“The house was very comfortable and spacious--loved the layout, it had a pleasant "open" feel and lovely view of the lake. We had everything we needed with kitchen, laundry, balcony and deck, bedding and towels, and boats were a big plus. The tap water tasted clean and very good, which is not always the case on vacation! Fishing for northern was good from kayaks and we could catch some bluegills and bass off the pier. We went at the end of May, and the mosquitoes were fierce on the first day when……

“We really enjoyed our stay on the Chetek chain of lakes. The house was well cared for, clean and had everything we needed to make our family vacation effortless. The owners were very friendly and responsive and the location was perfect. It was very nice not having a lot of boat traffic to listen to while sitting outside on the patio but we liked that it was just a short boat ride to bigger part of the lake.”

“Overall good bones and basics. Great host Britany, very responsive and cooperative. A fair amount of deferred maintenance at the property, faint occasional whiff of dead mice (coming up from basement owners area). Relatively small stuff like burned out bulb in oven, very slow draining tub/shower, missing some basic utensils like carrot peeler, no ice cube trays, refrigerator missing obviously broken pieces. Two propane grills in poor condition (but no charcoal grill) and a note that guests……
