“This cabin is very comfortable and spaciously laid out with many areas to gather. The lake is beautiful and the dock access is great. We had a lovely time relaxing as a family, swimming, kayaking, fishing and eating. We got lucky with great weather but we appreciated the option to be in the screened in porch in case of rain. And it kept the mosquitoes out! This was a great place to stay, and we look forward to returning in the future!”

“This is a picture perfect lake cabin. The hosts are extremely easy to reach. The boating and fishing were great and the lake view is beautiful.”

“The Eleanor is a a pretty, cozy, well-appointed dwelling with a shabby-chic cottage ambience. We stayed one night, after attending a wedding at the Shed, but would have been happy to stay for a long weekend, to explore the countryside around Amery. Winter or summer, this is the perfect place for a family retreat!”

“We stayed at this cabin for a long weekend. Communication with the owner was great, any questions I had were answered within minutes. Cabin had everything you needed for a relaxing stay, kayaks, paddle boards, & a lily pad, stuff to keep the kids entertained. We had our pick of a gas grill or black stone to cook on at night. Great boating/fishing dock as well (no luck catching anything though). It was a great cabin and we hope to stay there again. The only thing I would add is that the cabin had……

“We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend stay! The cabin has everything you need and was remodeled with a modern rustic touch. Docked our boat and enjoyed the lake that included a bar/restaurant that you can dock up to with live music and a great atmosphere. ”

“Lovely place, we rented both sides of the cabin and it was really nice to have both sections. A couple problems with plumbing but only happened once so not a big deal. Nice quiet roads to walk our dogs on and using kayaks was super fun! Really nice county parks close by and state parks as well!”

“Clean, basic living. Perfect location for getting to all the lakes. Quiet ”

“Overall good bones and basics. Great host Britany, very responsive and cooperative. A fair amount of deferred maintenance at the property, faint occasional whiff of dead mice (coming up from basement owners area). Relatively small stuff like burned out bulb in oven, very slow draining tub/shower, missing some basic utensils like carrot peeler, no ice cube trays, refrigerator missing obviously broken pieces. Two propane grills in poor condition (but no charcoal grill) and a note that guests……

“It is more then big enough for the 10 of us. The lake is the best we have fished and stayed at. Very quiet. Not have to worry about neighbors on top of you. Over all we had a great time and would definitely go there again. ”
