We stayed one night, after attending a wedding at the Shed, but would have been happy to stay for a long weekend, to explore the countryside around Amery. “We stayed at this cabin for a long weekend. Communication with the owner was great, any questions I had were answered within minutes. Cabin had everything you needed for a relaxing stay, kayaks, paddle boards, & a lily pad, stuff to keep the kids entertained. We had our pick of a gas grill or black stone to cook on at night. Great boating/fishing dock as well (no luck catching anything though). It was a great cabin and we hope to stay there again. The only thing I would add is that the cabin had……

“Lovely place, we rented both sides of the cabin and it was really nice to have both sections. A couple problems with plumbing but only happened once so not a big deal. Nice quiet roads to walk our dogs on and using kayaks was super fun! Really nice county parks close by and state parks as well!”

“Great spot for family vacation.Enjoyed sitting outside with the lake views,listening to the birds and loons.Grandson spent most of the time playing down by the water and catching lots of panfish and a some small bass.Pontoon is a must! Great for cruising the chain and fishing.Well equipped for making meals,electric griddle, crock pots,gas grill,ect. Great fire pit and plenty of nice wood to use.Good overall lake cabin experience! Definitely recommend!”

“This was a comfortable cabin for our group of 6. We were not familiar with the area, so it would have been helpful to have much more specific information about the location (i.e., the fire# at the road where we turned, etc.). If the owner had not been available to his phone when we called, we could have driven around for a very long time trying to locate the cabin. While we appreciate the issues with having a holding tank, as a group that doesn't live together we were a bit uncomfortable being……
