“The listing lacked a lot of vital details.1) the rooms are underneath a very busy commercial space. We were directly underneath a bar room and the sliding of chairs, talking and music carried on into the night. The music not only came through the ceiling above us, but was piped out into the backyard for bar patrons who went outside to smoke to listen to it.2) the location is quite remote. “We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Elkstone. The cabin itself is beautiful - very clean and comfortable for 2 families. We encountered next to no hiccups, but when needed, the owner was very quick to respond to email. The location of the cabin is great - close enough to but far enough from Eagle River. The setting is lovely - very private and serene. We rented a pontoon boat from the Maple View Resort - about a mile away - which guaranteed us access to Pioneer Lake. To get to the……
