“This place was the perfect place for solitude and family connection. The little cabin was efficient and perfectly appointed. It felt secluded, but it was just a short drive to Seward, which is fun and vibrant. I almost cried when we left and I vow to return one day. Side note: there was mention in the description of no cell service unless you have Verizon, but our Spectrum service there worked perfectly—even though you should not want to be on a phone in such a special place. ”

“The house is great. Many neat touches. Owners spent a lot of time and effort to make a nice home. Crossing the railroad tracks to get to lake added to the experience. Only item that makes us not give it a 10 rating is the stairs to the door from parking area. Suggestion would be a landing area to manage luggage and top stair needs to be leveled.”

“This home on the lake was over the top! Mark and Dawn made sure we had everything we needed down to firewood for the firepit. Home was so amazing we didn't want to venture out. Thank you for such an awesome stay!!”
