“Friendly staff in this hotel, food excellent and varied. Lovely big bedroom, comfy beds with vintage furniture, bathroom could do with a bit of a makeover. Superb view looking over the river with the swans and ducks. No lift in the hotel so I did struggle with the stairs.”

“The room and view facilities were fantastic. The bar and restaurant downstairs were busy, but the accommodation upstairs was quiet. The Polish lad (I think) who works there was really friendly, helpful, and quirky. The only two slight issues were that the parking was a bit of a trip but not a deal breaker (£10 per p/night) and that there was a group staying in the room next door who must have been chain-smoking as it stank out the corridor, etc. Other than that, the stay was top class and I will……

“Nice hotel well worth the money for the stay plus breakfast. Only thing when sitting having a,drink in the bar they allowed people to smoke outside the main entrance allowing the smoke to come into the hotel, not nice.”
