“We were very pleased with this VRBO rental. We decided to stay in Newport last minute and feel fortunate this was available. It is a short drive to the center of Thames, but it is also walkable (if you don’t have a bad knee). The apartment is bright, clean and had everything we needed. Parking was not an issue. We will look to stay here again. Don’t hesitate to rent this beautiful apartment. ”

“The only complaint I had was the access in the floor of the closet was just a pannel of wood laying on the floor joist it made me a little nervous, so we put the fan on it, other than that, the place was very clean and homie. It is part of a duplex, but the neighbors hardly made a sound. ”

“My husband, 2 kids (ages 6 and 2), and myself stayed here for 1 week. I wouldn't stay here again, nor would I recommend it to people. On the positive side--the views are absolutely beautiful (make sure you get a room with a balcony), free onsite parking, shuttle service to downtown offered Thursday-Sunday, friendly staff, good AC, and the size of the room was comfortable and had 2 large sized bathrooms. “Great location, very clean and comfortable, great owner communication, nice touches of home, really accommodating and helpful. The twin beds are very high captain's beds, so need to be careful about that, and be prepared for street noise at night (it's on Broadway, after all). Would stay here again. Thanks for everything. ”

“Wonderful place to stay during our trip to Newport! The place was clean, tastefully, decorated, and had beautiful views of the harbor. The host was responsive and was even kind enough to have wine and snacks waiting for us upon arrival.Although there was some street noise from the Thames street nightlife, there were a number of fans and white noise machines available throughout the condo, which made the noise a non-issue.
