Our room overlooked the parking lot with our window directly in front of a parked car We asked to be moved and got a room on the back side facing some greenery but had a passageway for staff hauling noisy laundry carts right outside the window. Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). “We had a truly wonderful experience at The Neeld Arms. Mark, the proprietor, was incredibly courteous and an outstanding host throughout our stay. “The hotel is nice. The building seems to have been converted from a country house and the interior decorations are quite nice. The staff are friendly and eager to help. We didn’t try the evening meal but the breakfast was good. The hotel doesn’t have a lift, although there aren’t too many steps, still a lift seemed necessary. Also the bathroom seemed to be in need of refurbishment. I would give the overall experience four out of five.”
