“310Guest-House LaVida in Old San Juan is an older building (like ALL of Old San Juan) and, as such, is not well insulated for sound from the often-busy street below. We had a balcony unit so two large doors lead outside to a small balcony. Two windows (above the balcony doors with no curtain or shade) let you know when it's daytime. With no reception desk, the property is accessed using a lockbox system with the combination provided prior to check-in. There isn't a regular cleaning service, but……

We brought our own coolers but there is a roll away cooler and 2 beach chairs and toys available.Restaurants nearby if you’d like to go out for lunch or dinner.Only difficulty we had was finding the property. “We were five including grandparents and 18yo son.We found the host very helpful and responsive. The rental is as described with much character and charm. The location is excellent on a beautiful quiet street between all the shops and restaurants and the ocean walk and well protected due to its proximity to the governor’s residence.
