“It was a great stay for our family of 3 with our 22 months old daughter. The villa and the views were stunning, services and staffs were great. If you're looking for a quiet getaway and doesn't mind a 3hr ride from the airport, then this is it.”

“Very chilled place in a lovely design (great bathrooms) across from beach and with perfect little pool to help cool you down. Food was fresh, delicious and well priced. A couple of friendly little beach cafes and simple but good eating establishments close by. Great spot to relax or surf.”

“Overall our stay at Medewi Bay Retreat was wonderful. Since this was our first trip to Bali, we didn’t have a lot of experience with the different areas of the island, and didn’t realize how remote this area was. We knew Medewi was a very popular surf destination and nearby to Negara, but other than that it is a far more rural/remote area than Kuta, Changgu or Ubud. Our best suggestion when booking any place in this area is making sure you are able to drive/rent a scooter in this area because……

Nice resort.....isolated but easily accessible.

"A beautiful setting along the south western coast. Small roads lead through a few villages to an isolated setting along the ocean. Villas are sturdy, comfortable, spacious (probably a bit more than necessary) and well equipped. WIFI works but a tad slow. The grounds, pools and public pavilions along the waterfront are quite nice. Landscaping is high quality. The rstaurant (The Lily) is very good and has an excellent small bakery attached. Enjoyed our stay. Will return."
