“Very nice B&B. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The building is historical; however, was under good care. The room is pretty and clean, except that the sheets cause allergies. After we ask the staff to change the sheets, everything is fine. The breakfast is simple, and the staff cooks eggs and pancakes onsite. Lots of parking lots around, and are all free. The location of MVI is not at Waikiki and is very quiet in the neighborhood. Thus suits for those who drive themselves travelling……

“The hotel does not allow any early checkins and they would need to know 3 days in advance to attempt to accommodate. The elevators take way too long so if you uber or lyft make sure to start your journey 10 mins before so you dont loose your rideshare. The location is in a great place and you can walk to many places without a car. The hotel parking is expensive but may not be needed. “I knew my goal was to spend more time outdoors than in. Good location. Walking distance to Ilikai, Hilton, Ala Moana Mall, etc. Pool was a nice alternative to walking to crowded beach during day, and relaxing in the evenings. Jacuzzi was good and evenings always in use. Close your curtains at night to avoid lookey loos! Especially with light on. Can see everything from pool. LOL. $5 to use gym for duration of stay. Good equipment and AC was great! Water system to refill in gym. It got the job……

“The property was close and convenient without being in a loud part of the city. The room and common areas were clean. The only complaint would be that there was either renovations or really loud guest above us moving furniture around early. I really think it was other guest. ”
