“The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They served dinner later in the evening and having the restaurant connected to the guesthouse was very convenient. Malta has decent public transport, but we did not use it, as it was easy to walk around. There was also a grocery store, Spar, around the corner about 2 minutes away. Would definitely stay there again!”

“2nd time we have stayed here. Staff are always so friendly and helpful which makes it a great place to stay. I do feel the rooms are a bit tired and could probably benefit for a freshen up. Other than that lovely place great location. ”

“The property was ideal for what I was after, and I have no complaints at all. The only potential downside for some could be that sound travels well outside the hotel as it is in a busy social location, and the soundproofing could be improved. Quite noisy with early morning deliveries and late evening chatting etc ”

“Generally the property was good. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Facilities were just adequate, the shower ran out of hot water after one person then you had to wait half an hour for the next person. Otherwise I was happy with my accommodation. The area Tarona house is in, is pleasant enough however you have to be careful as some dog owners are not diligent and think more of their pet than other human beings. ”

“Lovely clean apartment, well equiped for self catering. We did book breakfast but the buffet restaurant closed due to being out of season. However the staff brought breakfast to order every morning to our room, which was lovely. I asked for an extra blanket (before we worked the heating out) which was delivered promptly. Nothing was to much trouble. Bars and restaurants all close by. ”

“Me and my family had an amazing stay at Pierre de soleil! The staff was always available for our requests, they really made us feel like at home!! Our room was very comfortable and clean, services were done every day almost like at a 4* hotel. We'll definitely be back!!”

“This was a very bizzare property. It’s NOT a hotel. It’s a 3 Bedroom apartment with locking bedroom doors. There is a common living room and common kitchen. The property is run from an office in Italy and they don’t do well with English. The wi-fi was terrible and the beds were awful. The property location is NOT correct on the Hotels.com app. We ended up going to the wrong area then having to call another car to get to the actual location. The instructions from the office were okay to get……

“Very lovely welcome from Pauline and as our room was free we were allowed to check in early around 10am! Excellent choice of breakfast which was very tasty. Beds were really comfortable. Excellent location for walking to Mdina and St Paul's Catacombs and driving to Hager Qim. Would definitely recommend. ”

“Everything was spot on. Great Breakfast buffet, one of the he best. Staff were excellent, very attentive. Rooms were very modern, large and clean. Value for the money was outstanding....it was the offseason. Highly recommend. Unfortunately the infinity pool on the roof is not heated. Limited use in the winter. Very few English TV Channels and limited channels in general.”
