“Staff in the hotel, were very friendly, service was very good, but the staff in the spa, let them down. Mix up over treatment dates on their part meant I missed out on a treatment, no apology was offered and the girl who dealt with me was off hand and very unhelpful. She didn't even try to sort it out, I ended up having to have a refund which really spoilt my whole spa break. Don't think I'll be returning anytime soon ”

“Good clean room and bathroom. Easy check in and parking. No real issues. ”

“This property was easy to find. Was a stop off on way home for one night. Large room which was clean, with added bonus of a fridge. Large shower. Only issue was thevIT system was down and no key for room. After a 5 minute wait for receptionist to call someone( no explanation of this) we were let into the room. Luckily we were not going out or leaving the room otherwise this would of been an issue! There was an onsite bar & restaurant, but we did not use these as we had brought some snacks with……

“The soundproof was not good at all. During late evening and early in the morning, the footsteps from upstairs were SO LOUD. We could not sleep well due to the noise. The squeaking sound was crazy, as the guests kept walking. Sound proof of walls on the same floor was ok, not silent, but totally acceptable. Apart from the noise, everything is fine. The location is good. Not too far from town centre. It has a big car park, so perfect for a rest in the middle of road trip. Cleaniness is also……

“Very good offering. Lovely reception and bad area. Rooms are a little dated but the hotel is perfectly good and has everything you need. Comfortable stay on all 3 occasions. Bar staff are super friendly and talkative.”

“The hotel is situated in wonderful grounds. The room we had was spacious and clean. Would have preferred a larger shower than an oversized bathtub though! The staff were extraordinarily friendly and attentive. The food was incredible and some of the best we have had at any hotel. Great place to use as a base while in the area. They have set the bar extremely high, just hope they can maintain it!”
