“This hotel is an amazing place to experience Every part of the old monastery is beautiful and our room was beautiful. They managed to keep the character but add modern elements. The staff is very helpful in every way and the food is very good. It is close enough to the historical centre by car but not to walk in the high heat. I would love to stay there again! ”

“ This is not a Grand hotel in the sense of the Danieli or Excelsior, however, that is probably because they choose not to have a restaurant, even though they put out a sumptuous breakfast and have a commercial kitchen and plenty of staff. Our room had filthy old green carpeting, but we noticed in the long hallway that some rooms have modern wood flooring, which is much more sanitary I don't know why we weren't given the upgrade since we are hotel gold members. “Accommodation was spacious and clean, the staff were very attentive and friendly, breakfast was a typical continental meal and more than adequate. Walking to the old part of the city was under 10 minutes and really easy to get to. On site parking was available for a fee, we chose street parking which was easily available most of the time. Would definitely recommend Aedes for a Lecce stay. ”

She knew I am going on a long drive, so she considerately added more snacks in the already wonderful breakfast so I can take on the road. I’d definitely come back again.”

“The villa is beautiful and the owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is IDEAL since it is on the edge of the historic center and you have gated parking in the front drive of the villa. It was so easy to come and go with our car to visit other parts of the region. In the evenings it was just a short five minute walk to get to the historic center of Lecce. The breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to this area.”
