“Over the pub but very quiet room ,”

“An amazing location in a restored Georgian country manor. As you pull up to the main door, it may occur to you that the entire staff should be lined up to greet you in Downton Abbey style. That's how perfect it is! The staff is excellent. The only flaw was that our room's smoke detector had a hideous blue light that was way too bright at night. There was no way to get the room dark.”

“We had a wonderful stay, our room was clean and extremely comfortable. After a day exploring it was lovely to relax by the fire in the lounge. The staff were really lovely. ”

“We stayred in room 348, was very nice with spacious bedroom and very nice walk in shower. Food was very good and breakfast was absolutely great. Staff were very young but well trained and looked after you very well. Only complaint is the room was by the main road and was noisy with traffic till about 10pm and from 6am”

Wee perks of a hotel were included like towels, toiletries, water in the fridge, coffee etc but it was way better than a hotel due to the space and facilities, especially when travelling as a family.
