“We wanted a relaxing and peaceful holiday with a pool and view and good service. This hotel didn’t disappoint us. There are only six rooms so the service was personal and exceptional. The hotel is located at the quieter end of the Hikkadawa stretch of beach which suited us. The livelier bars and hotels were only a short walk away too. There are buses every five minutes just outside that took us to the Tsunami museum one day and Galle Fort another for about 50p each, each way. Great fun and……

Our butler Roshan was fantastic, when he came to know we were unwell he organised a complimentary herbal inhalation session at the spa, brought us lots of honey and kept checking on us to see what we needed. “We booked and paid via hotel.com BUT when we arrived the manager explained Expedia instructed him to charge us for the room. We spent 2 hours chatting with hotels.com whereby they promised to refund us, so we also paid cash (so double) while waiting for hotels.com to refund us. BUT we now received a email explaining they could NOT get in contact with hotel and will NOT REFUND us! ”

“Ein Aufenthalt bei Ravana beach ist wie zu Hause ankommen. Ravi ist sehr fürsorglich und herzlich. Wir wurden mit Kaffee auf der Terasse verwöhnt und jedes Essen, ob Frühstück oder Abendessen (1x hatten wir Barbecue) war super lecker! Wir kommen gerne wieder 😌”

“Extremt hjälpsam familj som äger hotellet. De lagar frukost och kan hjälpa till med alla möjliga resor, safaris i Sri Lanka. Enda nackdelen var att varmvattnet ej ännu var installerat. Dock inget problem tack vare vädret under vår vistelse.”

“Rommet var helt greit, bortsett fra at sengen var hard. Resten av stedet virker som ingen har gjort noe med på flere år. Det har ett forlatt og slitent preg over seg. Poolen var møkkete og hadde veldig grumsete vann. Den kan ikke har blitt rengjort på veldig lenge. Det samme gjelder resten av uteområdet som kunne vært fint hvis noen ryddet opp og ga det litt kjærlighet. På vei ned til frokost området og stranden må man dukke under grener da det er helt gjengrodd. Personalet var hyggelig og……
