“My husband and I stayed in a standard room with a balcony for three nights to recharge. It was a safe, cozy, clean, and convenient place to stay if you want to hike in Muir Woods and the Tamalpais Mountains. The continental breakfast and service were excellent. “The Acqua is a treasure hidden (in plain sight) next to the 101 Freeway just before the Golden Gate Bridge. This picture doesn't do it justice - it's built along the water the mirrors the lights along the along the roads and hilltops of the surrounding Mill Valley at night. It is attractively landscaped with a comfortably sized outdoor seating area for relaxation and offers an oath along the water for strolling or walking your dog. “My husband and I spent a weekend in Sausalito and San Francisco, and The Gables Inn was the perfect place to stay on our trip. We stayed in the Cedar Room, which was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Walking outside, you see the wonderful view of San Francisco across the Bay right away. The staff was very friendly, helped us with parking and recommendations for restaurants. The parking can get tricky, but the staff went out of their way to ask another guest to move their car a bit so we could……
