“Great stay”

“It was a work weekend and the cottage was close to the job. (We’re out of Richmond Va)Reason for the 4 star on the listing:Showed the bedroom with 2 double beds and 1 single bed. Actually there are only 1 double and 1 single. No worries though we made it work and it was perfect for us. Will probably book again if y’all will have us.Thanks for letting us stay.”

“If you’re looking for a place for you to have a safe space with your family, young or old, with all the amenities that you would want from your own home this is it. If you’re a veteran, there’s multitude of bases nearby with commissary’s to get groceries for the week to help the budget. ”

“I traveled with my family from pennsylvania check in was held up with no one called about Dirty dishes dirty towels ripped up towels barely any wash cloths barely parking old food and rippers behind the beds major dust just horrible ”

“I absolutely loved this little cottage and can’t wait to visit again!! It had everything we needed and more. Loved the small private beach and watching the ferry crossing the James River. Spent time in Smithfield, which I want to do again and spent a day across the river visiting Williamsburg. I also got in a little fishing! The owner was great to work with and provided tons of info to make planning my visit perfect. I highly recommend this sweet little cottage! ”

“As the listing describes, this is an older house that has some updating needed. It was decently clean (there was a lot of stained carpets and such, but we were expecting that from the listing description). It didn't smell and we didn't see any bugs. The beds were comfy, the location was nearby everything we were visiting and it was on the beach. There were a few issues we had when we got there and they were resolved quickly. There was plenty of room for our very large family. If you are planning……

“Wonderful communication with property owner, comfortable beds and amenities like a welcome basket with snacks/bottle water/juice was an added bonus. Very clean throughout and easy to follow check-in and out instructions. Only minor complaint is that the air conditioner for the upstairs room was off upon arrival, so the room was quite hot when we arrived near 8pm at night. Would definitely stay again as we were close walk to the beach and local food spots. ”
