“I stayed in the B&B for convenience of location and really enjoyed my stay! The owners look, Luis and Ronda were very personable and I enjoyed hearing stories about the home and its history. “The owner and staff are exceedingly gracious, we felt quite welcome. Our room is warmly decorated and comfortable from the bed to the linens to the rain shower and tiled bath. “Debbie & Alan are wonderful hosts making you feel like you are part of the family. The accommodation is clean comfortable & sits in a beautiful location. We sat on the dock over the river watching the sun go down. Debbie’s breakfast are the best we had in the US& as you share the table with other guests breakfast is both entertaining and enlightening. Advice on what to see locally was good. We would recommend Marvels on the Creek without any hesitation. ”

“We were NOT able to stay at the Phillips Inn because Travelocity screwed up the reservation. Travelocity said the res was confirmed, no need to call the property. I called day before arrival and was told they could not honor the res due to the death of the owner May 22. I made the res May 25. On June 22 Travelocity still had no idea the owner was deceased or what the property was doing. Call Travelocity Customer Service, 2 hour wait to talk to CSR. Used callback option, got call about 3 1/2……

“12 of my friends and i stayed here for my birthday, not only did the hosts leave me a nice birthday gift, but a wonderful place to hang out for a weekend. The place is immaculate and well thought out. They paid attention to every detail! The kitchen is fully stocked so that we could cook for and feed all 13 of us. The entire weekend people kept telling me it was so comfortable, so clean, surprisingly well stocked, beautiful, fun to be in, etc.! Will definitely return! Mindy was very responsive……
