“We enjoyed our visit. Home is well equipped and was clean. Manager was very receptive. Has plenty of cooking equipment. Has a grill, but we didn't use it. The only issue, and it's not the owner's fault, but we brought our dogs, and the dogs across the road were running loose almost the whole time, so we had to keep our dogs on the deck whenever we were outside. Lots of loose dogs in the area made it difficult to walk the dogs as well. That said, I would recommend the property, just keep an eye……

“We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner.”

“We enjoyed our stay. Loved the size of the kitchen but the dishwasher didn’t seem to work very well. The Keurig didn’t work but thankfully we brought our own. The backyard was enjoyable. We hung out by the fire pit a lot. The hot tub didn’t get hot enough since the temps were in the 40’s so we didn’t use it unfortunately. There were 7 of us that stayed and we didn’t think there was enough comfortable seating in the living room. Just one small couch and 2 chairs. The game room was fun……

“The house was just breath taking when you walk in. The views of the lake were amazing. Even though it rained we were perfectly satisfied! We had a fire in the outside fire place on the covered front porch. It was very peaceful. The host Gary made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed and or wanted! The house was fully stocked with everything! We will definitely be going back next year!”

“This place worked out perfectly and both houses were very organized and clean. We were able to have the kids in one and the adults in another, which was awesome! :) the dock was amazing and well taken care of. We go to Cedar Creek lake 3-4 times each summer and Clays place was definitely ranked towards the top! ”

“Enjoyed our stay, everything was clean and host was on the ball when responding to our questions. The house was cozy and we had everything that we needed. Really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and being near the lake.”

“We were disappointed in this property. Kitchen floor wasn’t clean and we had to clean a few pans before use. Clothes in drawers of prior persons stay. The outside had cob webs, bugs and had not been wiped down in a very long time. When we initially walked in, there was a strong smell. We took about an hour to collectively wipe down or clean inside and outside tables and chairs. We also had to but had soap for bathrooms. ”
