“My family stayed in this cozy, eclecticly decorated, home for a weekend. It had absolutely everything we needed and was very clean. Quick access to grocery, restaurants, shops, etc. I would defintely rent again. This home is in an older neighborhood with small homes, but the surrounding area is nice. My one and only very minor complaint was with the electrical outlets. Our three-prong cords did not work due to this being an older home with two-prong outlets. I would suggest bringing an……

“My family of 6 stayed here over New Years. We liked the location as it has convenient access both to downtown Dallas and to our relatives in the Forney area. This home is located near fast food, gas stations, and a Walmart grocery, and the neighborhood is quiet despite its proximity to the busy intersection. The house has comfortable furniture and was clean upon our arrival, with plenty of towels, soap/shampoo, laundry detergent, etc. We do wish there had been plastic dishes for the children to……

“We enjoyed our visit. Home is well equipped and was clean. Manager was very receptive. Has plenty of cooking equipment. Has a grill, but we didn't use it. The only issue, and it's not the owner's fault, but we brought our dogs, and the dogs across the road were running loose almost the whole time, so we had to keep our dogs on the deck whenever we were outside. Lots of loose dogs in the area made it difficult to walk the dogs as well. That said, I would recommend the property, just keep an eye……

“We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner.”

“We enjoyed our stay. Loved the size of the kitchen but the dishwasher didn’t seem to work very well. The Keurig didn’t work but thankfully we brought our own. The backyard was enjoyable. We hung out by the fire pit a lot. The hot tub didn’t get hot enough since the temps were in the 40’s so we didn’t use it unfortunately. There were 7 of us that stayed and we didn’t think there was enough comfortable seating in the living room. Just one small couch and 2 chairs. The game room was fun……
