“My meal on Sunday evening was the best I’ve ever had, and the service by Rula wonderful and friendly.. room was delightful and breakfast delicious hot and perfectly served. Excellent choice the only problem was when paying generally with Hotels.com I pay before I leave home and can use my Keycash points but as Mellor took funds on leaving the deputy manager didn’t know how to use my credit which would have covered my meal. She tried to phone but apparently couldn’t get through. I will be taking……

“Stay was ok. Could do with a Fan and a Mini Fridge. Bed was way too soft mattress wise and didn't like the hard wooden bed frame and headboard. Soon was I walked in I bashed my Shin on the bed Grazing it. Had to plug in the TV and Kettle as wasn't plugged in. (Not enough plug sockets. Shower hadn't been cleaned properly still hair in shower from someonelses stay. Heated towel rail didn't turn on. Tv too far away from bed and very small to see could do with being wall mounted nearer to the bed.……

“We were upgraded to penthouse so it was fab. That said check in details weren’t sent and I had to call a few times to get them. When I got them over the phone they were incorrect. Ken saved the day when we arrived. He was a gent. Penthouse was lovely. ”

“Lovely staff. I got a late check out for£25 extra which was amazing after a night out. The hotel is really lovely. By a gorgeous lake. Nothing was too much for the staff. I was given an extra blanket on request. I would not hesitate to recommended this hotel with lovely country pubs a walk or uber away. Thankyou. Amelia Jones”
