“House 1 flight down from street level. Outdoor deck is a flight of stairs down (wary if you have little kids)Kayaks another 4 more flights down. didnt use them, but looked fun. Jetty quite high to launch kayaks.House was clean, uncluttered and modernly furnished. Communication was excellent, and owner let us stay extra 1.5 hrs.”

“Quaint off the main road staycation location that is just the right distance from most major areas. Owner was very timely in getting back to us about any questions we had with the house. People have mentioned the multiple extension cords and connecting wires and older setup; consider the location like a Catskill cabin but closer down the Hudson Valley with some modernized upgrades to fit the house size particularly in the kitchen. All necessary amenities were included: cooking supplies, basic……

“the place was so lovely and comfortable! the hosts were very kind when we had some trouble getting in at first (user error), and we had no troubles at all during our stay. The pool and hot tub are amazing, the house is so comfortable, and there is lots of hiking and other nature activities nearby. the sound of the creek is so soothing!”

We had a few mishaps, including accidentally locking ourselves out late at night, and the host was incredibly kind and flexible, assisting us promptly each time. When we realized a toiletry bag had been left behind, the host graciously mailed it back to us at no charge, which we greatly appreciated.The home comfortably……

“This property was the perfect stay. Very clean, relaxing and comfortable with all the amenities. Beautiful view of the lake from the comfy back porch. Quiet and relaxing. Property owners were so nice. Highly recommend. ”

“It was a perfect house and town for me and my 8 friends to stay. We all had room, were able to work remotely on Friday and we had perfect weather. My only note is that we had planned on using the grill one of the nights but only realized when we got there that it was not set up. We also had wanted to us the canoe but could not seem to find the oars. All in all it was an incredible weekend at a beautiful home and we will DEFINITLEY be back!”

“We had a lovely stay! Charlie, the owner, met us in person to give us the key and show us around for an extensive tour so that almost every kitchen appliance and dish was made known to us, (except the electric kettle, which was hiding in a cupboard and worked well!) There is no dishwasher, but we didn't mind washing the dishes we used, and there were also disposable ones. The refrigerator was well-stocked with beverages of all kinds and other groceries, and there were multiple cupboards filled……
