“this was our second stay at the Hotel Gran Playa within a year, we checked in late due to flight delays from Madrid to Alicante in the historic (el Apagon) black out in Spain the receptionist explained about the black out and no electricity no lights in our room tired and hungry from the ordeal and no bars or restaurants to go to, a lovely lady getting ready to go home after her shift I was asking where we can get something to eat offered us pizza from the kitchen i think her name is Mercy,……

“I had a lovely stay. My only disappointment was that I prefer a warmer, cozier blanket. ”

“Very close to the airport, parking on street within 50 yards. Consum supermarket opposite. Plenty of restaurants nearby which are open to 23:00. Room is ok with fridge and kettle, bathroom has shower, bidet, towels and soap. No lift, all rooms are up one flight of stairs.”

“Superb, well priced hotel. Booked with short notice and was pleased with everything. Comfortable beds and nice, clean, modern rooms. There's an area on the ground floor where you can sit with desks. The staff were kind enough to let me stay there for a short work call after checking out. The WiFi is good enough for video calling. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.”
