“Lovely spacious stay at this pub for my family, loved the little touches.. fresh milk in the room, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Large comfy beds. Staff were very friendly, and we had dinner here too which was delicious and well priced. Only thing that let it down were the light curtains giving us an early wake up, a black out blind would be a perfect addition! Well located for Forbidden Corner and Druids Temple. ”

“Great hotel the rooms are spacious and very well decorated. The bathroom had a fabulous shower and again great size. The shower cubicle had some mould in the seal which was a shame. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great and cooked to order. We will definitely return”

“Fabulous country hotel set in stunning grounds. The staff are enthusiastic, highly trained and cannot do enough to make a stay here memorable.”

“The Holly Inn is a beautiful place. Atmosphère and staff friendly and helpful… phone first if you need to eat ! Room was clean beds ok and sheets although pillow had a blood stain( droplet on it) Although I paid for better room was given a cheaper one upstairs. Here the room smelt of fried cooking and bathroom whilst clean was old and mouldy in the corners .. water from shower good. I would stay in this room again at the cheaper rate. Not full . Lovely garden for dog and our furry friends……

“It was an amazing Hotel! Just across from the Cathedral on a lovely sunny day. Short walk into Ripon's pubs and shops. The service in the Hotel was excellent and the amazing breakfast has to be seen and tasted to believed. Thank you Lucy and your very professional team 👏 ”
