“Absolutely gorgeous historic property with the best breakfast croissant I've ever had in my life, and I'm a connoisseur. Only flaw was the fire alarm going off at 2am. But the breakfast was so good and the bed was so comfortable that it barely mattered. I met nice people and played on their chess board with my kids. Would absolutely stay again. ”

“Unique, charming, and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant on property and both were delicious. There is a nice pool, and the back patio was fun for the kids, with cornhole and a giant chess set. Bonus points for the easy walk into colonial Williamsburg.”

“Staff were excellent, breakfast was great with variety of items, room was clean and comfortable. The only negative is the floor/carpet in the room had a sticky feeling. It seemed clean so idk if it’s a cleaning product but it’s weird. ”

“The hosts at Aldrich House are great and provide a wonderful breakfast served family style in the beautiful home. Overall a very clean and lovely setting to relax for the few days we were in town to visit Williamsburg. Very easily walkable distance (about 10 minute walk with sidewalks all the way) to downtime Colonial Williamsburg. Free to visit town, but you will need tickets for events and attractions. Stayed here over July 4th and crowds not an issue at all.”
