“The check-in process was very easy, as simple as recieving the building and room codes via message. The room was very clean upon arrival. Parking was simple and did not need to hunt for a space. The location was within 25 minutes of easy walking to downtown Roanoke, so no driving is necessary unless you want to. If you don't feel like walking or driving, the Ubers would likely be inexpensive due to how close it is to downtown. I also enjoyed the suggestions of places to visit inside the visitor……

“My boyfriend and I wanted to visit Roanoke and get away for the weekend. I choose this spot for the convenience of being able to walk downtown to the local breweries and a short drive to the surrounding hiking trails. This apartment was perfect for us and our small dog. It was a very quiet and clean building, also felt very safe. It is also connected to a local brewery AFOG which is also dog-friendly. We have a great time! ”

“The place was perfect for an overnight stay on our journey. The bed was comfortable and the large TVs were a nice change from usual hotels. ”

My dog was welcome and enjoyed her stay. We were two blocks from the Roanoke Greenway and Green Goat, across the street from RND coffee, and just above Bloom. Friendly neighborhood, easy parking, excellent communication from the owners/managers. I will be back!”

“We enjoyed our stay in Roanoke, VA. The rental is in a repurposed building which is intriguing. We enjoy experiencing what communities do with older buildings that might remain vacant or be torn down. The rental is convenient to many activities.”

“Great stay here in Roanoke at West End Flats with my Husband and dog (in town for a half marathon)! Very clean, and location was very convenient to a lot of attractions and good restaurants. The Property Manager was always very prompt in getting back to me. The kitchen was not stocked with as many plates as we had hoped (minor thing), but we made it work. We usually bring paper plates anyway to make things easier. Beautiful surrounding areas in Roanoke!”

“We had a fantastic stay, cozy cottage! The space was immaculately clean, comfy beds, equipped with kitchen for all your cooking needs. Great host,incredibly responsive to our questions. The backyard was perfect for relaxing in the evenings, and the location was ideal for exploring the nearby shops and restaurants. Would love to stay again!”

“Loved having a kitchen. Made some great food and loved watching a fun movie on the large TV. Felt safe with the double locked doors. Having washer and dryer was very helpful for our extended trip. ”

“The first night—excellent. Second night at 2:00 am someone in the loft beside me starting yelling, screaming, fighting between male and female. This went on until 3:45 am and I finally went back to sleep. I heard every curse word yelled by each of them. Suggestion—the door to each loft needs a deadbolt lock for added security. The neighborhood where the west end flats are located is sketchy and if I was a female—it may not feel totally safe at night Other than that—neat and would suggest.……
