“We stayed over for 2 nights as it was just down road from a wedding we went to. Very handy. Great pub nx door. Just off service stop so other food options. “The staff were welcoming, very helpful & friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable and looked like it had recently been refurbished. We had everything we needed & even some shortbread with our tea tray, a lovely extra touch! We ate in the bar & again both the food & service were excellent. “Very nice little room with everything we needed for one night's stay. The Manager was really helpful, including giving us a lift to the wedding evening do which was really appreciated. We were also offered a free breakfast which was a great touch. Its a lovely country pub with rooms. Woukd definitely return.”
