“We enjoyed our stay at Mona's cabin on the river. Home is well stocked and has 2 nice sitting areas outside. The yard has lots of shade and stayed pretty cool and breezy for the middle of summer. The walk down to the river is beautiful and has a spring creek that feeds into the Nueces which gave a nice spot to cool down.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property. The house is lovely and the host is very accommodating. There is a very small airport runway near the house and my kids loved getting to watch a plane take off. ”

“The family and I loved our stay. The cottage is beautiful, cleaned, peaceful and has toiletries in case you forget something or run out. The property has a lot of space that my 2 & 4 year olds were able to ride their bikes. There were a couple of games to play and we chose to play jenga, enjoyed seeing the cars pass by while eating breakfast on the front porch, later in the day we sat on the back porch and viewed the river. The river is a walking distance from the cottage which was awesome! The……

“Beautiful place and views. Relatively secluded. Access is via a rough gravel road, so be prepared to bring a 4WD vehicle and to be bounced around. Interior was clean and comfortable. Deck was stunning, but some of the outdoor chairs (stools) are showing a lot of weather damage/cracking, so we avoided sitting on a couple of them. The water supply consists of tanks filled by a water truck, so water conservation is required. Overall, my wife and I agreed that we would be happy to stay again.”

“This place was extremely hard to find in the pitch blackness that is a typical Texas evening, I did 3 u-turns on 55 because I was afraid to use someone’s driveway. That was really our only issue, The house itself was immaculate, we couldn’t have been more pleased with the amenities. Outdoor seating areas on front porch and off the master bedroom were just lovely for drinking coffee in the morning and cocktails in the afternoon.
