“The house was beautiful with everything you could need. We were out all day so didn’t get to use the house much except for sleeping. The bed was super comfortable.”

“This house made it so easy to visit Alexandria. Travelled with my toddler and 70yr old parents. For the older people know there are some odd height steps and steep stairs as it’s an older home. For the toddler there is soooooo many activities!!! Bedding was awesome, the upstairs had individual AC units for comfort. There is a shared driveway for parking. We loved our stay!!!”

“This interestingly titled listing is certainly an affordable home option (surprised to see it on Hotels.com - property is maintained by Evolve and it is nowhere mentioned in the listing), conveniently located in the city. However, it is not recommended and not suitable for business trips. I stayed here with two colleagues during a recent business trip. The home itself is spacious, with a large living area, a patio, a nice pool table, and plenty of open parking. That said, we encountered two……

“Beautiful, tranquil setting. Hostess was very accommodating. Access to all of the right elements: kayaks, fire pitfire, plenty of outdoor seating, tiki torches, gas grill and more. ”

The property is in an excellent location, and parking was easy although I imagine it might get tough for more than one car to find close parking during the summer months. "The Tidal Basin is just across the street from the hotel, and the hotel has its own private bridge across the street to the Tidal Basin, which is in a great location to view the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin and go to the National Mall. The service staff is very friendly, and the hotel is tastefully decorated, clean and warm. The room is large and overlooks the Tidal Basin from the window.We came to see the cherry blossoms this time with my elderly mother. The hotel is very conveniently located for my mother in a wheelchair to visit the Tidal Basin."
