“We loved staying at Geneva and Peter’s Cottage! We stayed at the cottage for a conference in Washington, DC, and it was a perfect place to stay! The cabin was impeccably clean, and very well stocked with anything that you may need! We had plenty of clean towels and sheets for our stay. There is also a fully stocked kitchen, and the appliances are updated. The cabin is close to parking by the street, and safe with a lock on the door. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely, quiet, and very safe.……

“Check in process was seamless and easy. The owner communicated all the info ahead of time, AND was available and responsive to all our silly questions we had regarding using the thermostat and such. Very easy and friendly communication. The house and property all around is very clean, literally no dust or any grime whatsoever. “My daughter's family and myself went to DC for my mother's burial at Arlington. It was a quick trip and we're from the area,though no one lives there now, so we needed a place to stay. “The home is not what the pictures show. There is a lot of work that needs to be done. If you have the shower on upstairs and then turn the shower on upstairs then it turns the shower off up stairs because there is not enough water pressure. When we checked into the house we had to call and ask how to unlock the storm door and we were instructed we had to stick our hands through the broken glass to unlock the storm door to access the key box to unlock it and get the key. “Trip from Denver to see our son at the academy. Place was all that was advertised - clean, well appointed, comfortable, nice neighborhood. Its not far from the academy in terms of miles but you have to travel a lot of backroads to get there. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. ”
