“The bathroom lock door is non-existent and broken. There are some stains on the carpet. Quite disappointing that there is no mini fridge in the room. ”

“This is a good hotel built at a Services Area suitable for breaks in between journeys. Staying in for one night is nit a bad idea except that its location is not that easy to find.”

“We were upgraded to penthouse so it was fab. That said check in details weren’t sent and I had to call a few times to get them. When I got them over the phone they were incorrect. Ken saved the day when we arrived. He was a gent. Penthouse was lovely. ”

“Lovely room, comfortable bed, nice furnishings let down by poor carpet fitting in the bedroom and terrible vinyl flooring in the bathroom. Also no power to the shower. Great breakfast though and friendly staff. Owners, spend a bit on flooring and you’ll be on a winner”

“My cousin and I stayed in 2 rooms while spending the weekend meeting up with wider family. Everything was very good - no problems or difficulties at all. we didn't have breakfast as we had made other arrangements. We enjoyed our stay very much - loved the sight of the grounds from the room and although some of the buildings are looking a bit tired, the main entrance is stunning and the rooms were fine. Very good value for money.”

“A 1970s office block converted into a hotel. Rooms are huge by UK standard, both the room and equipment are very clean. Staff is friendly and experienced. The main complaint would be the WiFi - averaging 100-500kb/s, which is slow even by 2010 standards. Certainly need a replacement. Elevators only stop on even floors, so you would need to walk 1/2 floor up or down to the 1F reception or room (uneven floor for me). Elevator is very fast and there are 3 of them, so no issues at all. The nearby……
