“The staff are friendly and nice, with water dispenser on each floor for easy water refilling. There is also a good pub right next door for quality dining. On the downside, the room and the equipment is a bit worn down (e.g. loose socket, aged building materials) and the room doesn't come with all the sanity packs one usually expected (although they are available upon request). It is also pretty noisy throughout day and night, with party sounds coming from nearby pubs and emergency vehicles'……

“It was a planned anniversary trip for the two of us. Staff was very nice. The coffee machine needed to be cleaned. We didn’t use it. Adding photos. Also a small issue with being able to play music from my phone, laptop, or iPad on the TV. A support person came to the room and also could not connect with his phone. ”

“6 -10 minutes walking distance to supermarket. Few homeless people 3 blocks away. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful except forgot to give me a morning call on Oct 12, 2023 which l had requested the day before ( late afternoon on Oct 11 ). Recommend to stay at rooms with the river view because the other side of the building has a nearly Fire Rescue Station, quite noisy. ”

“The Staff were very helpful and the check in and check out process was very simple. The Facility was clean, there were a couple of odd repairs completed in the bathroom, Cracked tiles had black sylicone smired on them. ”

“Beautiful old hotel just a bit dated and understated compared to other classic Fairmont hotels. We had just come from Seattle and it was nicer there. Lounge was also very crowded for Fairmont gold had to share tables for breakfast and hearing in room was unable to switch off or change to cooling so had to open a window at night it was so hot. Not many other high class hotels in Calgary though so I’d still go back. ”
