“The only thing that could have made this stay better would have been that it didn’t rain.. but that is nothing that could be controlled. The first day my daughter and I took a little hike in the woods nearby and came up by the pasture where the horses where and she named one so lovingly “rainbow farts” (she is 6). “The lodge was way bigger than we thought. The listing shows only 1 bedroom, but was in fact a 4 bedroom. The two upstairs were somewhat warm-thankful it was a brisk October weekend. The lodge was definitely cleaned prior to our arrival. Cleaner was kind of a strong almost baby powder type smell-would recommend something less evasive smell wise. Other than that everyone enjoyed the living spaces and kitchen area of course. Bedrooms were nice size and beds were comfortable. ”
