“Lovely quiet woodsy retreat”

“Enjoyed our time here, and it was centrally located to Amish country, Hocking Hills hikes, and historic towns like Lancaster. Great place to visit and we enjoyed our time here. ”

“Everything was pretty great, we really enjoyed our stay! The hosts were accommodating and responded quickly to questions. The hot tub was great and we didn’t find the temperature to be too cold like I believe another review said. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because our friends said the big upstairs bed was very uncomfortable. But if you’re only going with two people and don’t need to use the beds upstairs, then it was definitely 5 stars.”

“Property was wonderful, although it was a little smaller in person than the pictures, but it was exactly what we wanted....some good, quality family time fishing, sitting by the fire, enjoying the hot tub. Could use a little TLC. But overall,wonderful place. ”

“Nice location and quiet. Hot tub was nice, cabin had a fun design that met our needs. We enjoyed staying there. Some cons were regarding maintenence items: some deep scratches in the paint in a few areas, shower faucet that was plumbed wrong makin hot cold and cold hot, kitchen faucet also should be replaced. These were just annoying, but we enjoyed our stay”

“The cabin was beautifully decorated and was very clean! Tons of space for the kids to run around and play inside! Great location close enough to all the main caves/hiking spots.Only negative was due to the significant amount of rain the septic leech field was very potent and unfortunately was the worst when hanging in the hot tub area. ”

“Cottage was as described online. Check in and out were easy. Received a text the day we arrived to ask if anything was needed. We did not need anything but it was nice to have a number in case we did. Place was very clean and provided everything that you would expect to be in a rental and then some. There were k cups and creamer, which was nice. There were also plenty of games. We played jenga , uno and yatzy. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“This was the perfect cabin for a few night get away. We stayed here with our children and it was perfect. The kitchen was a little tight but for one person to be in there it was just fine and had everything we needed to cook each night. Very close to some of the awesome sites at hocking hills, Rock House was one of my favorite places to see. The yard was great and big had lots of room for the kids to run around and throw the football. The firepit and hottub were both huge hits. ”
