“I was only there for one evening. I wanted to be close to the Oakland airport for my Monday mid morning flight to avoid traffic. It’s a perfect place for that. No need to get on the freeway and just a short 4-5 mile drive down the hill. Very pretty area too. Oh and the water pressure for the shower was awesome and heats up quick. Thank you again for a very convenient and peaceful stay! I will stay again when in the area. ”

“This is the most charming cottage. John and Arthur have thoughtfully created a comfortable and tranquil space. Yet, it is close to many fun restaurants, shopping and even breweries. Park Street in Alameda has it all. Easy into San Francisco on the ferry or a short car ride. If you’re lucky to have a chat with the hosts they are as charming and fascinating as the home they have curated. ”

“Sara was a great communicator and was a great host for 8 of us! The place is very clean and has great decorations that make it a great place to stay. There was a problem with the toilet but she got back to us right away and told us it was just slow. She said she was fixing it right after our stay. Would love to stay here again!”

“We loved this apartment. The unit is beautiful and stylish and very quiet. The bathroom especially is full of luxurious high end touches (like double shower heads and heated floors). The porch features gorgeous flowers and lovely resident hummingbirds. The location is ideal: great coffee at Spike’s and markets for essentials right around the corner; everything the Castro has to offer nearby; easy access to Muni at Castro Station; a short lovely walk to Dolores Park and the Mission.
