“A lovely setting overlooking Rutland Water. The grounds are well kept and it's a very pleasant way to spend a weekend. The Blossom restaurant staff were engaging and helpful, taking time to talk to customers. The spa experience was wonderful and again the receptionist and masseuse were a pleasure. “The hotel was a good base for the surrounding area. It was very clean and the staff were lovely and helpful. I've given it 4 stars on facilities because our room was quite small and didn't have a lot of room to manoevre around. Also we didn't realise when we booked that the pub didn't do food on the Sunday or Monday evenings and the bar closed early too. Overall a pleasant stay.”

“This is a lovely cosy B&B. The breakfast was brilliant (smoked salmon plus home made marmalade) and service excellent too. My room was very spacious, one small point - the bathroom was so hot, even though I turned off the towel rail socket the rail was still roasting. “It was all wonderful right from the check-in, the staff are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a well lit and very tastefully decorated and sizeable room, with comfortable beds, two small armchairs and a coffee table. “Lovely hotel with a cute courtyard where we had lunch. Stayed in the large suite with its own lovely garden. The room was big, two bathrooms and nice big bed. Coffee machine and kettle with fresh milk in the fridge and fluffy bathrobes plus easy ample parking. The downside was it was quite noisy from the road, bifold doors across the division from bedroom to sitting room would solve this problem. Also could do with body moisturiser….none was supplied.
