“This was a great jumping-off point for my wife and me to explore the Moosehead lake area. We enjoyed our stay, thoroughly, and would have loved to have had more time in the area. We didn't spend too much time at the cottage itself, but it was a good home base, and had all the fixings to be a pleasant place to relax in.”

“Great Property! 100 Yards of beach access. When I say beach I genuinely mean Beach (sand). The house layout is as follows. The entrance divides the main floor to the bottom floor. On the main floor there is a large kitchen with added washer. The living room is split between a sitting area and dining room. Your Master bath is on this floor as well as master bedroom. 2 sets of sliding glass doors allow access to the deck. The lower level has one large open area with twin sofa recliners. A larger……

“My brother and I were traveling for our Uncle's funeral. We were thrilled to find the Perkins House was available. The house reminded us of our grandparents house in Harrison, ME. It brought us back in time to days of our childhood. I definitely want to return with my family to enjoy the Lakewood Theatre and the lake.”

“Loved staying here. Owners were prompt when we had questions. The space was clean and had enough room to spread out. Outside area was awesome with access to the lake, fire pit, and room for the kids to run around!”

“Great spot on the lake! The house was super clean, beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed while we were there. The neighbor's house is really close to the property along the shared beach, and while it was never an issue for us, you may hear the neighbors as they come and go from their house. Overall a fantastic stay.”

“I booked Dragonwood as a place for myself and my bridesmaids to stay leading up to my wedding, and for the rest of the wedding party and out-of-towners to stay at after the wedding.
