“Alex was a great host. He was proactive when he noticed the temp dropping in the house and wanted to get it taken care of ASAP. We liked the temp at 67 so we weren’t concerned but Alex reached out to me directly to make sure we were okay. Beautiful little space. Perfect for my husband and I. It was adorable, clean, had plenty of coffee and options for coffee. The neighbor helps with the trash and was also super friendly. I would absolutely recommend this VRBO, and truly, any VRBO that Alex has.……

“This is about the nearest thing to a perfect VRBO as we've seen. Instant access to BART and SF. Mindblowing array of restaurants on College Ave. Smart house with modern fixtures / heat / lighting with sensible furnishings. Very accommodating host. Great communication.”

“Well, there are a few things to mention straight off: no washer or dryer onsite (somehow I missed this on the listing, but assumed a home in the suburbs would have it); the tv remote didn’t work - we downloaded the Roku app and that worked, but it should be replaced; the deadbolt on the front door is glitchy; we had some ants in the kitchen; and there are not any full length mirrors. That being said, texting with Alma was quick and reliable. The beds were plentiful for such a small house. The……

“Excellent stay, location, Everything is really good, it’s perfect. The host is very nice.”

“I stayed here during a canine search & rescue seminar. The photos don't do the property justice. The place is amazing. It's peacful (no freeway noise) in a gated neighborhood. It's a short 20-minute drive to stores and restaurants and closer to hiking trails. My host was gracious and helpful and supplied all the essentials plus some oranges from her trees. There's a good size fenced dog run too. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again.”

“This property is spacious, clean, and comfortable! Plenty or supplies if you want to dine at home. Also excellent proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, and freeways. Communications with the property owner was always prompt and friendly. I would highly recommend this property for anyone who needs a place to stay in the California Bay Area!!”

“This is a very nice large sunny clean house with tons of space, tons of sunlight, beautiful location and view. It had a fish pond, a chicken coop and a large redwood tree on property. Absolutely beautiful. The one challenge is a 200-300 hike uphill to the house. There is no Parking near the house and if you have anyone with difficulty walking uphill, don't stay there.”

“The Urban Oasis served as the perfect home base for a Bay Area memorial service our party hosted to honor two cherished loved ones. The accommodations are immaculate and the beds are comfy. The location is great. The host was responsive when we had an issue figuring out how to get inside the gate. Highly recommended!”

“Stayed for 3 nights. Split level. one bed room on main floor the living space/kitchen are on 2nd floor and 2 bedrooms on top. Beds were comfortable. It was cold so we used the heater and it worked quickly! Would definitely stay again. Parking was a but of a hassle but we were always able to find a spot. Walked to the port to go to the pier in San Francisco but its also a quick uber ride away. ”
