“Newtown is a special New England village that was founded in 1705. This 3-bedroom house on a small lake was perfect for 6 of us to relax in between family activities around the area. Best for folks who can handle steps. Gorgeous main, open living space takes up entire main floor where we played games, watched tv, cooked, ate and read. Recommended. ”

There was a lot of games and activities to do in the house the kayaking was nice and everything you needed was included in the house and was very pet friendly. That all being said there was a surprisingly amount of ants for this time of year inside the house, it didn't bother us too much but I can imagine it could be a problem for someone else. “My mom, dog, and I attended a convention in New Milford about 15-20 minutes away from the cottage. It served us well and was really convenient that it was pet friendly. In a nice neighborhood Note: though it did not affect us, it’s definitely not a handicap accessible stay. ”
