“Great view from the room and the cafeteria/restaurant. The mountain and the river behind are spectacular. The room itself is quite nice and big as well. However, the only public transportation to get to the hotel is by bus. Even it is only three minutes walk to downtown, still strongly recommend to rent a car if you would like to explore more in the neighborhood. The hotel has its own underground parking lot. So it is not a problem for parking.”

“Three of us stayed Tabuaco for the vineyard visit. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained; the only main issue is that there's no elevator, so we had to draw our luggage for a couple stairs to reach the lobby and then three floors to the room. I was hoping that the room would be a bit bigger as it's a triple room. It's was in a quiet and clean neighborhood and we accidentally found a bar close by, quelha funda bar, which we love so much. The atmosphere was great and the draft beer……

“El hotel es precioso, nos recibió María, la dueña, y no puede ser más maravillosa, siempre con una sonrisa y pendiente de que todo estuviera a nuestro gusto. El desayuno preparado por ella misma, fue increíble, con zumo natural, fruta fresca, bollería... “Quinta da Barroca is an excellent place for a relaxed family time in Douro or for an event. It lacks some maintenance or improvement in some things (such as the children's park and the sauna/jacuzzi), but the houses and the scenery are great. Breakfast could have some more variety, but it's good enough, the fruit is excellent, apples right from the tree ”

“We had such a wonderful stay. The rooms were fantastic and had a view of the valley. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our family. Breakfast was great and can be enjoyed looking out at the beautiful view. We only had one night stay but we would most definitely come back and stay for longer. Highly recommend!”
